Situational Awareness

This is a critical survival need in averse and risky situations. In places where Christians are at risk they must become situationally aware for their safety and the safety of their families. To recognize risk and danger in advance will give you an edge that could be the difference between life and death.

If an angry crowd, riot or other hostile groups and swarming into your area and you have not choice but to leave. Make sure you are dressed plain and simple to blend in with the way they are dressed. Do not wear shirts or clothes that will stand out. Avoid pictures and logos on your shirts. Avoid brightly colored and unique looking clothing and shoes. No fancy or different hats or coats. Your goal is to get visually lost in a crowd by the crowd. If someone talks to you speak like they do, in anger or other ways. Act and behave as they do until you can leave the crowd and head to safety.

Do not carry anything that they are not carrying. If they have weapons and stuff. Grab a board or something so you blend in. Don’t use it, but act like you will. Do not try to take your stuff with you, that will give you away instantly. You can always come back to get stuff when things are safe.

Always pay attention to what is happening around you. If the things are getting rough, avoid that location. Slip through the shadows and between buildings, if it’s safe. You want to hide without looking like you’re trying to hide. Get unto the center of the moving crowd to move out of the area.
